LDH-P DGKC Fluid 5+1
LDH measurements are used in the diagnosis and treatment of liver diseases such as acute viral hepatitis, cirrhosis, and metastatic carcinoma of the liver, cardiac diseases such as myocardial infarction and tumours if the lungs or kidneys.

In 1956, Wacker et al published a method for LDH determination using lactate as substrate and NAD as coenzyme.

This method is the “optimised standard method” according to the recommendations of the German Society for Clinical Chemistry (DGKC) in 1972.

Intended use
In vitro assay for the quantitative determination of lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) in human serum and plasma.
